Fareed Zakaria
Fareed Zakaria, is the host of the popular Fareed Zakaria GPS for CNN Worldwide. He is a columnist for The Washington Post and a best-selling author. Since its debut in 2008, GPS has become a prominent television forum for global newsmakers and thought leaders. The program earned the prestigious Peabody Award in 2011 and an Emmy© Award nomination in 2013. He is the author of four New York Times best-selling books, In Defense of a Liberal Education, The Post-American World, and The Future of Freedom, and his newest book, Ten Lessons for a Post-Pandemic World (October 2020).
In 2017, Zakaria was awarded the Arthur Ross Media Award by the American Academy of Diplomacy. He was named Top 100 Global Thinker by Foreign Policy magazine. Fareed also serves on the boards of the Council of Foreign Relations and New America.
